  • Rogers Says He's Sold Emerging Markets, Except China

(Bloomberg) Jim Rogers, said he's sold out of all
emerging markets with the exception of China
    because they're ``over-exploited.'' ``I'm long nearly all
agricultural commodities, about 20 of them, because
that's the place to be,'' said Rogers. ``It's better than
the stock market, the bond market or any other market
that I know of right now.''

U.S. Wheat Farmers Face Grim Harvests as Bill Dies

Thomas Murphy's crew and 2,500 other skilled, legal
immigrants who come from places such as South
Africa, Australia and New Zealand to cut grain are
among the most productive workers in the U.S.,
gathering one-third of all the wheat in a $7.7 billion
    market.

Russia lays claim to the North Pole - gas, oil, diamonds

Russian President Vladimir Putin is making an
astonishing bid to grab a vast chunk of the Arctic - so
he can tap its vast potential oil, gas and mineral
wealth. One newspaper printed a map of the "new
addition", a triangle five times the size of Britain with
twice as much oil as Saudi Arabia.

Brazil Subsidizes 4 Million Bags of Coffee at Auction

Brazil, the world's biggest coffee grower, agreed to
subsidize all 4 million bags of beans offered at an
auction after a currency rally eroded export profits.
Today's auction was the first time the government
offered to support prices for coffee since 2002.

    Prices close to production costs...
